BTS Community Forum Guidelines

Quick Reminder of BTS WhatsApp (WA) Community organization Guidelines to all Startups/Businesses
(Follow this on a serious note, first, to help us prevent Participants or open members from leaving the community forum.)

– More as a rule of the community forum, we expect both our members and non-members to stay with us long-term. Since BTS is a recognized and serious-minded startup/business community forum, we expect dedication, support, and cooperation among individuals. Stay with us and contribute; the community will give back to you in terms of value.

(Note: Nothing will hurt BTS on an emotional plane more than Participants leaving the community forum for petty reasons. Though there is no compulsion, the relationship matters a lot in business. If at all you want to leave the WA group, just state a valid reason or feedback to +91-9952484192 or call +91-6369705635 so that we can improve our community organization activities. You were added with lots of love/trust through an invite or request for joining, and for all this and more, the least you can do to honour our team is to make a graceful exit through feedback or a valid reason note. We expect this conditionally.

– Avoid Reckless Promotion. Strictly follow 3 postings/week (only) as a guideline.

– Promote only your business. Avoid posting businesses of known business/startup acquaintances,
networks, or circles. Definitely not ethical and professional. Instead, why not add them to the community forum as non-members first?

More about BTS

[Updated: 04-May-2026]

Rule 1: BTS does not solicit the authenticity of any of the messages posted by any individual, and it’s purely the opinion of either the member, non-member, or sponsor. We hold no responsibility for payment/delivery failures or delays, though they can be arbitrated amicably for the benefit of both parties.

Rule 2: No ‘Good Morning’/’Good Night/ Seasonal Greetings’/Blood Donor/Missing/Bride or Bridegrooms Wanted posts allowed in the community forum. Note: WA groups will be admin-only during all national, religious, regional  and cultural festivals to prevent the influx of greeting posts.

Rule 3: Off-topic discussions other than business/startup-related will not be entertained/tolerated in the community. Keep lengthy discussions in the community forum offline.

Rule 4: Posts that involve only an image/video should be explained with text without fail unless they are self-explanatory. Participants failing to follow this point will be immediately removed from the community forum when such habitual behavior is observed.

Rule 5: Participants are advised to follow weekly community forum activities in the prescribed format (scroll below). Avoid promotion posts on days except for Monday & Tuesday.

Rule 6: No links to other WA Business communities or groups will be allowed whatsoever. It is unethical and unacceptable to do so. No links to external Meets (including BNI/CNI, etc), except those approved by Team BTS, will be allowed.

Rule 7: No form of personal branding efforts will be allowed. No off-topic self-branding videos will be entertained, and warnings will be sent as a PM initially.

Rule 8: All Participants are requested to respect the opinions of all individuals; never interrupt when a conversation thread is on. Wait for it to be over.

Rule 9: Only up to 3 images or 2 videos per post will be allowed. Only 3 such posts per week will be allowed. No memes will be allowed.

Rule 10: Newly inducted Participants must introduce their company without fail within the first week of joining as basic members.

Rule 11: Participants should not involve themselves in discussions that disrespect any religion, community, caste, profession & gender. No name-calling or shaming of any community member in public is allowed. Personal disputes should be dealt with in private.

Rule 12: Only Open discussions relating to startups & business will be allowed. The decorum & objective of the community forum will be strictly maintained and never compromised whatsoever.

Rule 13: Any business referral lead will be passed on to members (paid) and sponsors. No referral should be made to individuals who are not even non-members of the BTS community. Please don’t violate this point.

Rule 14: An individual can be a participant of only one WA group, i.e., one startup per group. Kindly inform the BTS team and remove yourself if you’re a member of more than one WA group (an exception to this rule is a college faculty member who’s also running a startup/business or vice-versa).

Rule 15: Strictly avoid forwarding messages. It establishes an unprofessional image among members and non-members. Please post the message to appear more authentic for a higher prospect of conversion.

Rule 16: Avoid adding businesses such as MLM, Insurance, Stock trading, and Brokerage, including database selling, Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency/Digital Currency, Bank/Govt. Loan service providers (unverified), and Real estate to the WA community group.

Any Member (paid) violating the aforementioned guidelines will be warned 3-4 times. And any subsequent violation will invoke removal from the group, particularly if he/she is a non-member with immediate effect.
